The Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HvA) hosted a workshop of the Software VOC and the Knowledge Network Green Software (#KNGS).
Prior to the workshop participants could take a tour in the lab.
Some 50 participants discussed the ways to reduce of the consumption of energy.
Joost, Joris, Jeroen, Bo, Erik and Bas presented research and discussion from different perspectives. Freek, of the participants, concluded "After a period of 'believing in the good cause', you now have have proved the financial relevance of green software systems". Ellen helped a lot in organising the workshop. From her work on processing the evaluation forms we thank you for rewarding the meeting with an '8'. The research projects in the #KNGS are supported by AgentschapNL. Let me conclude by thanking Bo and Robert for hosting the event.
Some of you have received an email from Worknets. For your information the #KNGS uses the wiki to publish content and has not decided to switch to an other platform.
